Hybrid Flowers Book
In this illustrated plant book, you can find information on the appearance of familiar flowers, described in the ‘past form,’ together with images of fictitious flowers. Through this contrast between before and now, I wanted to throw
this question about why they have changed their appearance, what aspects made them changed. Each and every petal, leaf and stem that appear in my drawing and collage are component of ego. I hope that they will be recognized as materials expressing important memories that affect experiences, emotions and clouts in life. For this reason, I wanted plants that cannot exist in reality
to be delivered as if to be existent in reality instead of remaining as imaginary flowers. I wanted to induce various questions and curiosities about beings that can stem from observation of living organisms that cannot be understood with existing common sense. So, I expressed them by publishing a pictorial, a record aimed to deliver facts.
